Introduction
Well, I'm a student of Sciences and Systems Engineering, and I want to become a database administrator, so I've decided to learn all the uses and capabilities of databases, and the tools to take the maximum advantages of them.
Managers often have to take decisions based on the results of the finantial incomes of the enterprise, but it's clearly difficult to see and understand the behavior of the information contained on the database; so they can implement the technologies given by the decision support systems to have a clear look of the data.
Context:
This project is aimed to develop applications that supports the decition taking for managerial jobs. The data contained in databases will be transformed by the ETL process and give reports to the manager that are very useful to view the information's behavior through time.
Population Targeted:
The project is aimed to help managers in any enterprise that has the need of study the behavior of the information contained in a database.
Institutional Framework:
The project will aid enterprises to make a better use of traditional databases, by using the ETL process and Datawarehouse, Data Mining and OLAP concepts to generate reports, predict the behavior of the information on a certain or uncertain future.
